BETOPOX® 891 is a solvent-free, pigmented epoxy resin self-levelling coating, designed for
applying as a high strength, decorative floor with a smooth, shiny finish. It complies with the
requirements of standard EN 13813.

Fields of application

Floors with high mechanical strength in warehouses, workshops, garages, industrial bays, hangars, etc. Floors with high chemical strength for food, mechanical, chemical, pharmaceutical industries and hospitals. Decorative floors for shopping centres, offices, laboratories, teaching centres, kitchens, chambers, etc. Floors for areas needing decontamination and cleaning.

Properties

Excellent adherence to concrete, mortar and stone substrates. High mechanical, abrasion and impact strength. Good chemical strength. Great self-levelling capacity thanks to the low proportion of mineral charges in the mixture. Very decorative, continuous, smooth and very shiny pavement. Impermeable to water. Easy to maintain, clean and disinfect. Solvent-free.

Consumption

The approximate amount of BETOPOX® 891 to use is 1.75 kg/m2 and mm thick mixed with: - Resin (A+B): 1 kg/m2 and mm thick. - Aggregate 0.1 - 0.3 mm: 0.76 kg/m2 and mm thick. However, the final amount used will depend on the condition of the substrate, its porosity, levelling and the site conditions.
