Cookies policy

PROPAMSA has developed this policy to inform you what a cookie is and what it is used for, which cookies we use in this web page (the “Web”) and to explain how to set them up according to your interests, as required by Article 22.1 of Act 34/2002, of 11 July on Information Society Services and E-Commerce (“LSSI”).

When you visit our web for the first time, we inform you about the existence of cookies, both our own and third-party cookies, by means of the informative notice in the Web itself and, this Cookies policy. Also, we inform you on how can set up the cookies that you want to install, from the different categories that we use.

By setting up or accepting the cookies, you are consenting to all the cookies, or those selected, being installed.

However, you must take into account that there are certain cookies that are exempt of consent because they are essential for the Web to work correctly. This exception includes the technical or functional cookies intended to allow users to browse through this Web, to activate the use of the various services included in this Web, control the traffic and data communication, among others, as described later.

Our policy shall be at your disposal at all times at the bottom of our Web in the “Cookies policy” link.

WHAT ARE COOKIES?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in the user’s browser. The cookies facilitate using and browsing on a web page and they are essential for Internet to work, by providing innumerable advantages to offering interactive services.

The cookies are used for example to manage the user session (by reducing the number of times the user has to enter their password) or to adapt the contents of a web page to their preferences, and therefore improve the experience of using the web page.

The cookies are classified according to the following categories:

Depending on their duration, we distinguish between “session” and “permanent” cookies. The session cookies shall be deleted once the user abandons the web page that generated them, and the permanent cookies shall remain in their computer for a certain length of time.

Also, depending on the entity that manages the equipment or domain from which the cookies are sent, and processes the data it obtains, we can distinguish between “own” and “third-party” cookies. The former are the ones that are sent to the user’s computer from a computer or domain managed by PROPAMSA and from which the service requested by the user is offered, while the “third-party” cookies are the ones that are sent to the user’s terminal equipment from a computer or domain that is not managed by PROPAMSA or which even though it is managed by PROPAMSA, it is another entity that processes the data obtained from the cookies, for its own purposes (often, by contracted providers, for example, the web analysis service, which is offered by Google).

You can find further information on cookies in www.allaboutcookies.org/ .

WHICH COOKIES DO YOU USE?

In our Web, we will be able to use technical, analytical and/or publicity cookies. To know and manage the cookies that we use you can access the cookies set up:

According to the type of cookies, you shall be duly informed via the said cookies configurator of the purposes of each specifically established cookie ; and also if the information thus collected can be processed by third parties as being co-responsible for the ownership of the information collected.

WHO USES THE DATA FROM THE COOKIES?

As indicated in sections above, in our Web we use both our own cookies and third-party ones.

Third-party cookies are managed directly by them and they usually use the data for their own purposes. You will be able to find the information in the cookie configurator itself, as well as in the actual policies of the third parties identified in each section.

WHERE YOUR INFORMATION IS PROCESSED

When using third-party cookies, it is possible that your data may be transferred outside the European Economic Area or to countries with an appropriate level of protection according to the applicable ruling.

According to the destination country, this transfer may imply an international transfer of data to countries that do not offer the appropriate guarantees.

CREATING USER PROFILES

As indicated, we can draw up a profile on you. This profile consists in collecting information that is useful to us to offer you better products and services or products and services that we think may be more interesting for you.

To create a profile we consider:

  • Your behaviour on our web based on the cookies you have accepted previously.
  • Your interaction with the e-mails we send you with the newsletter. In other words, according to the content of the newsletter that you have opened or the time or frequency with which you have been consulting said content.

No individual automated decisions will be taken about your data in any of these processes. In the event they are taken, we will inform you accordingly.

HOW LONG IS THE INFORMATION KEPT?

You can consult the conservation periods for the information obtained from the various cookies, via the Cookies Manager.

HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES

When visiting our Web for the first time, we offer you the possibility of setting up the cookies that you want to install or reject. You will be able to reject installing any category of cookie except the technical ones, which are necessary to ensure the Web works properly.

If using the cookie manager you accepted installing certain cookies, and later wanted to reject them, and the cookie manager permitted it, you would be able to modify your initial selection or set up the cookies again.

At any time, the user shall have the possibility of accepting or rejecting the installation of cookies or reject the installation of a certain type of cookie, by modifying the preferences on their web browser.

Through their web browser, the user can:

  • activate private browsing, whereby your browser stops saving the browsing history, website passwords and other information from the pages you visit; or
